Why do I see Asians everywhere?

So I moved to Melbourne, Australia, but why is it that I see Asians everywhere?

Just to make it clear before I continue: I like Asians.

90 per cent of everyone I see during the day is Asian! I live in a building of 24 floors, and I'm not kidding, almost EVERYONE is Asian. I feel like a minority here! Once I see someone other than Asian, doesn't matter if he looks South American or Mediterranean, I get a little bit shocked! Cause you NEVER see them in this building! It's really strange going to Melbourne, and not see any "white Australians". Maybe I ended up in China? Took the wrong flight and ended up in Shanghai.

A carrot I bought from the Queen Victoria Market.

Another very common thing... At the restaurant, the only people who order hot water are Asians. I know that's a cultural thing, I know they drank hot water in Kenya as well. But it's a little funny :P Swedes would never order hot water, would they?

But the most annoying thing of it all, is that every Asian person has an SLR camera! If I meet 10 Asians, 5 of them will carry their SLR. If I meet 10 Australians, (which will take a while), maybe 1 or 2 will carry an SLR. Why? Why? Oh why I ask myself? Are they better photographers? Are they more artistic?

Or are they just more obsessed with electronic stuff?

I really don't understand. I don't see the point in having an SLR if you don't know anything about photography anyway. If you don't have the slightest idea of what you're doing, don't waste your money on an SLR!

Oh, finally a blog! :) yey!

You know it was more common in old times in Sweden to drink hot water. It's called "silver-te" :)

Old lady Sara has spoken... Haha!
